Web banner animation for Vaseline’s collaboration with Korean IP brand DINOTAENG, promoting limited-edition body lotion and gift set.
[ CHALLENGE & DESIGN RATIONALE )
This campaign promoted Vaseline’s limited-edition body lotion in collaboration with the Korean IP brand DINOTAENG. I designed a set of web banners, including a 25-second looping animation, a static banner, and two micro-motion versions. Using Photoshop and Illustrator, I built a clean, product-focused layout and created supporting illustrations to enrich the winter skiing theme. In After Effects, I simulated continuous motion by shifting background scene objects—such as trees and wooden posts—and applying camera parallax to create the illusion of forward movement while keeping the IP characters static.
Because the DINOTAENG characters were not allowed to move under IP regulations, I relied on environmental motion and camera movement to convey liveliness within the scene. It required careful control of product balance, copy hierarchy, and animation rhythm to maintain both brand clarity and visual harmony. The final result successfully captured the cheerful tone of the collaboration and received strong client approval.
